Dance

Visual and performing arts enrich our lives and create a cultural fabric for our communities.

In addition to other opportunities, since 2010 we have enjoyed the privilege of photographing dancers who perform with Idaho Dance Theatre, a contemporary dance company in Boise, Idaho. The context for our work has been dress rehearsals, school shows, and a photography studio. Many of the dancers have performed or currently perform with other companies such as Project Flux, LED, Ballet Idaho, and Flamenco Idaho.

We admire the beauty, talent, and skill of the dancers and the choreography that they perform. Through our photography we are able to capture moments in time as the dancers bring to life the vision of the choreographer and add their unique creative expression through the movement of their bodies.
